Co-Audit Citations and File Previews Now Open Reliably

Punchcard's Co-Audit chat now reliably opens cited files and attachments from any page, with a new in-panel preview, plus more dependable deleting of clients, engagements, and team members.

Fixes

  • Co-Audit citations and attachments now open reliably: Clicking a cited file or an attached file in a Co-Audit conversation previously did nothing on most pages outside a task's document viewer. It now opens correctly everywhere — on pages without their own document viewer, Co-Audit opens a full-screen preview right in the chat panel that jumps to and highlights the cited passage, with a Download option once the file is ready. Unsupported file types show a clear message instead of failing silently.
  • More dependable deleting of clients, engagements, and team members: Deleting a client, engagement, or team member could previously fail unexpectedly in certain situations. These deletions now complete reliably. Team members who are removed keep their name and profile on past work so audit history stays attributable, no longer receive any further emails from Punchcard, and can still be added back to older engagements to credit their work without restoring their account access.
