Faster Request boards, private engagement protections, and more reliable CoAudit chats
Punchcard makes Request boards open faster, keeps private engagements limited to the people given a seat, and makes long CoAudit conversations more reliable.
Improvements
- Faster Request boards: Request boards and the tables inside Request panels open noticeably faster, especially on engagements with many Requests and tables. Engagement details also appear sooner when you open a board.
- Refreshed Home screen: Engagement status and columns are clearer, Focused activity is improved, and client and engagement settings are now in a submenu. The CoAudit launcher at the bottom of Home has been removed.
Security and access
- Private engagements stay private: Making a client admin gives them access to all of that client's engagements except private ones. They can reach a private engagement only if someone who can open it gives them a seat. If you make an engagement private, anyone who already has a seat keeps it. Check the engagement's members when you switch it to private.
- Client Members page: It now lists the engagements each client admin can actually reach, instead of showing them as "On all" engagements.
Fixes
- More reliable long CoAudit conversations: Very long chats are less likely to fail after CoAudit condenses earlier messages. When a conversation really is too long to continue, CoAudit now tells you so instead of showing a generic error.
- Request panel close button: In the narrow Request panel, the close button now sits next to the ⋯ menu instead of on its own row.
- CoAudit sidebar composer: The message box in the CoAudit sidebar no longer slides off the left edge when you click into it.
Retired
- Extract All Pages in CoAudit: This tool and its follow-up correction and query tools have been retired. Older chats that used them still open, and CoAudit can still read, search, and query your files directly.
