More reliable notification summary emails
Punchcard fixes a scheduling gap that could send a notification summary email twice, so auditors get one summary per scheduled time.
Fixes
- No more duplicate notification summaries. If you get notification summaries two or more times a day, a summary delivered shortly before its scheduled time (for example, just before 9 AM) could be sent again at that scheduled time. Summaries now always move on to the next upcoming time, so you get one summary per slot.
- Summaries restart correctly after changes. This also applies when you turn email notifications back on, when a mention triggers delivery of a summary that was already due, and when a new person's first summary schedule is set up.
- Schedules that don't divide evenly are covered. Summary times now work correctly for any number of summaries per day, including ones that don't fall on whole hours.
