Client File Downloads, Acrobat PDF Fix, and Reliability Improvements
Clients can now download engagement files as a ZIP archive in Punchcard, annotated Financial Statement Review PDFs open correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader, and datasource operations are more reliable when AI is actively running.
New Features
Client file downloads
Clients can now download all engagement files as a ZIP archive directly from the engagement page. Previously, clients could only access the Status Report — the files section was visible only to auditors. The new "Files → Download .zip" option gives clients access to uploaded evidence files and reference materials. Auditor-only documents are never included.
If any files cannot be packaged, the download will still complete and include a plain-text list of exactly what is missing, so clients always know what they received.
Improvements & Bug Fixes
Financial Statement Review
- Annotated PDF exports now open correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader on Windows. Some exports were previously flagged as corrupt when opened in Acrobat (while opening fine in other PDF viewers). This is now resolved — exports work consistently across all major PDF viewers.
Stability
- Removing or replacing a datasource while AI is actively processing it no longer fails. Users previously encountered an error in this scenario that interrupted the operation; it now completes as expected.
